The story of Polebenders  begins in 1996 with  Phil Maley a.k.a “ The Rodfather” and his love of fishing. Founded in the hidden haven of Seadrift, Texas, Polebenders began when Phil established a fishing lodge for his family, friends and clients. His vision: Escape the hectic pace of everyday life, allow people to bend some poles and have some fun. Over the years, Polebenders has become a symbol of good times and good company. We think that’s worth sharing. 

With Uncle Phil’s support, I, Kayhan Wakehouse, and my lifelong friend and fellow Aggie, Hanan Jones, have taken it upon ourselves to elevate my uncle’s vision. Our mission is to honor the legacy and vision of Phil Maley, "The Rodfather”. Building upon his foundation, we offer our valued customers the highest quality lifestyle merchandise, with plans to offer fishing equipment in the near future.
